Julia Meyer

Julia Meyer is the Director and Co-founder of The Hague Research Institute for Eastern Europe, the South Caucasus and Central Asia (THRI). She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Media Studies with a Minor in International Relations from the University of Groningen, as well as a Joint Erasmus Mundus Master’s degree in Euroculture from the Universities of Groningen and Göttingen. Julia is currently based in Brussels, working for the European Commission. Her research interests primarily lie in European foreign politics and effective policy communication. She is passionate about building bridges between political institutions and citizens.
