Signing of Memorandum of Understanding with the OSCE Academy in Bishkek

On March 25th 2024, The Hague Research Institute for Eastern Europe, the South Caucasus and Central Asia and the OSCE Academy in Bishkek signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to strengthen their bilateral ties and to jointly develop opportunities for joint collaboration in research and events.

On July 17th 2024, The Hague Research Institute for Eastern Europe, the South Caucasus & Central Asia and Maqsut Narikbayev University signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) in order to build closer academic ties, co-organise events and share knowledge.

We are delighted to announce that The Hague Research Institute for Eastern Europe, the South Caucasus & Central Asia has also signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with World Experience for Georgia on March 25th 2024, to collaborate on future research activities and events.

On May 3rd 2024, The Hague Research Institute for Eastern Europe, the South Caucasus & Central Asia and the Center for Geopolitical Studies Riga signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to build a close bilateral relationship and co-design opportunities for collaborative events, shared knowledge and joint publications.

Workshop

Green Hydrogen in the Global South: Politics, Spaces, and Transformations, addressing the (geo)political, spatial and ecological implications of hydrogen transitions in the Global South! The event is funded by the Utrecht University’s Pathways to Sustainability initiative: Strategic theme Pathways to Sustainability (Utrecht University).

Project Grant

We couldn’t be more proud to have received a very generous REKA grant for our project „Unlocking the Economic Benefits of Peace and Building Local Community Resilience in the South Caucasus“. The Russia and Eastern Europe Knowledge Alliance (REKA) is a network established by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands that encompasses a broad and inclusive network of experts and think tanks within the Netherlands, such as Clingendael Institute and Raam op Rusland (one of THRI’s partners).
