Kobayashi, Kazushige
Kazushige is an Associate Professor at the College and Graduate School of International Relations at Ritsumeikan University in Kyoto, Japan. He is also a Research Associate at the Centre on Conflict, Development and Peacebuilding (CCDP) of the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies (IHEID) in Geneva, Switzerland, and a Research Affiliate at the Institute for European, Russian, and Eurasian Studies (IERES) of George Washington University in Washington DC. Kazushige received a Ph.D. in International Relations and Political Science from IHEID in 2018. His research focuses on global International Relations, peacebuilding/conflict management, and the role of non-Western powers (especially Russia, Japan, and China) in the transformation of international orders. Over the last decades, Kazushige has also advised various governments and UN agencies as a policy consultant.
